The West ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Warriors Junior A Hockey Club, along with its affiliate businesses including the

Okanagan Warriors of the JPHL, has announced the hiring of a new Director of Sales and Marketing.

Phoenix Gibb-Wayland joins the organization to lead all sponsorship and ticket sales initiatives, in addition to overseeing marketing and community relations.

The Warriors also announced several additional changes to their business operations and staffing:

Amy Kruger, long-time office manager, has been promoted to Director of Business Operations, leading the execution of various business functions, including Game Week preparations and Game Day operations.

Clarissa Kazakoff has been hired as Social Media Coordinator for the Warriors and their affiliates. After spending the past two seasons as a social media and digital content intern with the club, she will now lead creative content efforts and spearhead a revitalization of the teamÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ merchandise business.

Brad Karp, the long-time game night host for the Warriors, will take on an expanded role as Game Night Director. In addition to his fan engagement duties, Karp will oversee all aspects of game night execution.

The Warriors open training camp on Aug. 29, with the home opener set for Sept. 19 at Royal LePage Place.
